For the first time in years you can now experience two local highland games in one weekend. On Saturday 25th July we have the Lochearnhead Highland Games. This is a traditional style games and the various clans gather in their tents around the arena. The games end with a hill race where hill runners run up to the top of one of the hills behind the arena and back down in astonishing times.

Also on the Saturday but also on the Sunday is the Callander Highland Games. This is a more modern style and has competitors from around the world who also compete in the worlds strongest man title.
