Restaurants & pubs
Opposite the park is The Golden Larches licensed restaurant and you can find the Kingshouse Hotel one mile south of the park which is our closest pub serving bar snacks. A free taxi service is available when to the Kingshouse Hotel if food is booked and you can walk safely there via the Rob Roy Way path that runs across the road from the park.
Riverhouse Restaurant http://www.riverhouse-restaurant.co.uk/ in Stirling is highly recommended - top quality food, fantastic service and very reasonable prices - plus all staff have a good understanding of dietary requirements
Nick Nairns cook school and restaurant is at the Port of Menteith and you can take a masterclass in the Cook School or dine in the newly refurbished hotel.
Monachyle Mhor hotel and restaurant just outside Balquhidder village boasts Tom Lewis famous menus featuring modern Scottish cuisine uses mainly locally sourced ingredients of the highest standard.
The Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum is about 40 mins away by car and offers award winning food - including gluten and dairy free fish suppers and onion rings - a real treat for allergy sufferers.
Other great local eateries include Poppies in Callander, the Inn & Bistro Strathyre, the Lade Inn in Kilmahog (see also ceilidhs), and the Four Seasons in St Fillans. Also in Callander is the Mhor Fish; voted one of the 50 Best Cafes in the UK.
