About Us

We took over the Park in 2003, and are committed to continually improving the site, and to maintaining a high standard of accommodation and service. We are members of the Scottish Tourist Board and are regularly inspected and have a 4 star status. We are also members of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association which regulates all areas of the Industry.

As the address suggests we are based on the site of an old Station – Balquhidder Station was an important stop where the mail was sorted and water was taken on from the same reservoir that now supplies the site with water. The Railway steps are still used and the entrance to the pedestrian tunnel and the rings for tethering horses are still there.

For 2006 we have planted a new area of Oaks and have undertaken extensive landscaping and hedgerow planting. We hope to have the Tree house up early in the year The Toilet Block has been refurbished and a new highly efficient boiler system installed. The Duck Pond has been dug out and will be sympathetically developed to provide a thriving eco-system (we hope!) We will then begin battle again with the wily Pine Martin to persuade it not to take the ducks!
